West Papua is a modern Blue Country

West Papua is partly a terrestrial ecosystem, i.e.,

a land-based community of organisms and the interactions of biotic and abiotic components in a given area. Examples of terrestrial ecosystems include the tundra, taigas, temperate deciduous forests, tropical rainforests, grasslands, and deserts. <The National Geographic>

West Papua is largely hosts aquatic ecosystem, i.e.,

an ecosystem in a body of water. Communities of organisms that are dependent on each other and on their environment live in aquatic ecosystems. The two main types of aquatic ecosystems are marine ecosystems and freshwater ecosystems. <Wikipedia>

Therefore, the modern green-state concept includes a “Blue Pacific” framework promoted by all Pacific Islands nations across Melanesia, Micronesia, Polynesia and Austronesia.

The Blue Pacific is the world’s largest oceanic continent, made up of a grouping of Pacific island countries and territories engaged in innovative and unique initiatives that show leadership toward strong regional ocean governance and the sustainable management and conservation of the ocean and its resources.

Both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems have direct and significant impacts on the aerial ecosystem, which in return impact our lives on planet Earth. The triangle of aquatic, terrestrial and aerial ecosystems are the triangles of live and living essence in human life.

West Papua is a modern nation-state established by tribal groups and confederations of clans in West Papua with emphasis on protecting the ecosystem to promote balance in our way of thinking, way of acting and way of being.
